An open position for a senior application architect focusing on medium to long term architecture. Candidate will work with architects across a range of disciplines infrastructure, security and software. Candidate will demonstrate deep architecture knowledge across full stack, be comfortable defining standards and implement across development team. You will be positioned as one of the most senior technical advisers working very close to CTO. You are an individual who articulates technology. Skills and Experience: Has an ability to review an application from several angles including performance, security, scalability and high concurrency; recommending standards to improve efficiency within multitenant architecture. Understands security and how best to apply across entire infrastructure and software stacks. Understands performance best practices across full stack & can recommend approaches i.e. front end static resources, back end business logic, off-loading to different tiers. Understand software architectures MVC, MVVM etc., single page application advantages and challenges. Be comfortable offering opinions and supporting your argument with best practices. A mindset for automation e.g. believe in something as a service - a founding principle of cloud computing. All services deployed within automation principles. Ideal candidate has a deep background in software development and deployment of large scale applications and has opinions on zero downtime deployment. Experience in following technologies would be beneficial JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, PL/SQL, RESTful web services, Java, Python, NodeJS, Apache, WebLogic, Tomcat.
