Currently recruiting for a Retail Supply Leader based in Cork. This is a maternity leave contract - min 10 months with immediate start. Key responsibilities: Category Business Plans – Help support the development and implementation of these Plans to drive sales, maximise promotional opportunities, optimise product offerings. Promotions Management - Support the agreed promotions strategy through the development and subsequent implementation of annual promotional calendars. Analyse and report on promotions performance against agreed criteria. Ensure sufficient supply of stock to cover all promotions over agreed timelines. Ensure that the Retail IT system is maintained up to date with the latest supplier and other agreed product information in line with the needs of local supply arrangements. Merchandising - As required, support the development of shop floor layout plans, visual merchandising and the development and implementation of plan-o-grams to optimise overall space management. Vendor Collaboration – Work with all key suppliers in conjunction with Category Leaders to maximise their contribution to the business and develop strong working relationships with them. Help develop, analyse and communicate agreed vendor scorecards which review, measure and drive supplier performance improvement. Knowledge, skills and experience: Must have a minimum of 18 months Retail experience. Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Excellent understanding of category management and retail systems. Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics highly desirable.
