JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Supervisor. Our Client, a well established Manufacturing company in Cork has a new role for a Productions Supervisor available for an ambitious candidate. The role summary is to assist Management in carrying out the daily tasks involved in running a busy plant. You will be giving instruction to the general operatives and reporting to Management. Duties/Responsibilities: The role includes (but is not limited to) the following: Checking incoming raw-materials deliveries and entering into the Companies ERP database. Coordinate daily Job schedule with Operations Manager. Allocate jobs to the operators on the factory floor. Planning and documentation for deliveries and collections. Working with the Quality Manager to ensure that all quality objectives are being met. Monitoring quality of raw materials and finished goods. Recording all SDS sheets for incoming raw materials i.e. Glues, Inks, Cleaning products etc. Make sure that all documentation around operations and quality are being completed properly and entering into the ERP database where required. Ensure that all Safe operating procedures and Health and Safety rules are being adhered to. Provide training on Safe Operating procedures and give Tool Box talks. Responsibility for monthly stocktake routine. Minimum Requirements: 2 years Production line supervision experience within a manufacturing company in Ireland. Comfortable in a supervisor role. Good communicator. Good computer skills. MS Office. ERP Software experience. A background in manufacturing. A qualification or on the job experience in a Manufacturing or Quality discipline. Manual handling training up to date. Perfectly fluent in the English lanuage. Terms: Full time, permanant, Monday - Friday. Package: Negotiable (DOE.
