A QC analyst is required for a permanent postion with a Pharmaceutical company based in Cork . The site is an FDA approved API manufacturing facility that offers both drug substance and particle engineering on a contract manufacturing basis. In this role the analyst will be working in the IPC Lab on a 4 cycle shift. In this new permanent role the QC Analyst will: Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in process control, intermediates and finished product; Perform analytical techniques in the area of Chromatography (HPLC, GC, TLC), spectroscopic methods (IV, UV) and wet chemistry techniques; Assure the right communication channel with the production areas in order to give the best response to the requests; Meet all GMP requirements as well as the Safety, Environmental and Health Regulations. The QC Analyst will have: A Level 8 Science Qualification. Ideally in Chemistry or related science. 3 years equivalent work experience or a Master's or PhD degree in a Science related field and at least 2 years equivalent work experience. Practical experience in HPLC and GC will be essential for this role. Flexibility is essential (willingness to work shift patterns as required by business needs.
