Our Established Client is now inviting applications for the position of Consumer Insights Manager, the main responsibilities of the role are: Defining and delivering a leading insights service for the business including all aspects of quantitative and qualitative research including focus groups, accompanied shops, consumer exit interviews etc. Gathering and collating complex data and insights from multiple sources into a clear, simple and actionable story. Creating research and data driven insights to enable the organisation to make consumer driven decisions that will enable both our brands to lead their respective markets. Managing our customer segmentation model, keeping it up to date and embedding the segmentation into key processes and strategies (e.g. commercial plan, period planning).Managing ad-hoc consumer research projects as required, ensuring that deep insights are generated to enable the business to action as appropriate. Working collaboratively with relevant teams across the business to integrate consumer insights into the brands strategies/plans and define new ways to make consumer insights actionable. Leveraging technology and our digital assets to ensure we are gathering insights from consumers in a way that resonates with them - e.g. live feedback, on line surveys etc. Preparing in conjunction with the Finance and Analytics colleagues the monthly commercial scorecard and review decks including consumer trends and behaviours, market trends and movements for key business meetings. Working with colleagues in the Insight & Analytics hub to deep dive insights and verify research findings with actual shopper behaviour - match research with data to conclude on business insight. Building and deliver a robust set of KPI`s specifically linked to the performance of the insights team. Managing and developing key relationships with key insights partners including RedC, Ignite Kantar and OSR. Management of insights budgets to ensure the business is achieving the best service in line with our guiding principle of achieving lowest cost. Bringing innovative methodologies to our research approach to disrupt and provoke the business to glean deep insight from shoppers. 3rd level degree - Marketing/Commerce or other relevant business discipline. A specialist qualification in Market Research will be advantageous. A Project Management or Business Analytics qualification would be beneficial. A minimum of 3 year`s experience in an insights role within the FMCG/Retail Banking/Teleco industries. Experience in qualitative and quantative research management is a pre-requisite. Experience in research and questionnaire design, data analytics and report generation. Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on reading and interpreting data and consumer feedback. Ability to translate research data into clear insight which is easy to understand and respond to. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
