We are inviting applications for Service Delivery Lead to join our Established Retail Client - Ideally the Candidate should come from a similar role within Banking/Telecoms or the FMCG Sectors. The Service Delivery Lead will as part of the Live Services team, ensure the successful delivery of fit for purpose IT services from the SSC to Divisions. This is a Group role therefore the successful candidate will have to manage relationships with SSC customers and third party service providers. Key responsibilities of the role include: Implement service management best practice for our Shared Service Centre (SSC. Ensure required support ITIL processes in place for all services delivered from SSC. Development and implement service management strategy and roadmap for SSC. Ensure that appropriate service levels, KPIs and controls are in place and are delivered in a process driven fashion. Provide regular service level and KPI reports to SSC customers. Define, drive and implement service improvement plans with customers and 3rd parties. Define transition methodology, operational acceptance criteria and other standards for implementation of new services. Play an active role in aligning the IT services with the Business 3 year plans. Develop service catalogue accordingly with new services. Manage operational budgets and annual budgeting process. Participate in SSC incident management rota. Manage 3rd party vendors and suppliers that provide services for SSC included commercials. Ensure that requests for service outside of operational services are dealt with in a timely process driven way. Manage 3rd parties in the request for service process. Education & Experience. The ideal candidate will have: Experienced in Service Management and ITIL processes; Expansive Experience of systems management in a 24 x 7 highly available environment, including ITIL best practices; Project lead experience; Technical leadership role in delivering IT systems and solutions; Essential Skills. Confidence & experience to propose and implement services & solutions, relevant new technologies; Self motivated with the ability to work under own initiative, with strong attention to detail; Natural technical curiosity and enthusiasm for technical detail, with a keen drive for self-learning; This job originally appeared on RecruitIreland.com.
