Our client, one of Irelands leading construction companies is currently seeking a Bid Specialist to support their bid team. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the tender document, with particular emphasis on ensuring the end product maximises the tenders success. Responsibilities include: Supporting various business leaders in collating information that is of a consistently high standard and protects or enhances the brand (Prequalification & Bid stages. Ensuring effective coordination and timely management of all tender related activity & tender responses. Responding to non-technical questions, and proof read / edit all content, providing feedback to writers as required. Liaising with all internal contributors to meet bid deadlines. Overseeing bid production programs and individual writing plans for high priority bids. Working with Senior Managers to produce written content and support internal and external stakeholders in the development of their responses. Communicating key timelines in respect of bid responses and ensure that all contributors have a clear understanding of their contribution to each bid. Improve the quality of tender submissions by running various publishing exercises that adds value to the overall look and feel of tender submissions and supports general business unit requirements. Obtaining feedback on PQQs and tender documentation. Maintaining a central database of key tender information (soft copies) on an ongoing basis, as well as ensuring that all tender submissions are available for future reference as necessary. Compliance with company systems and processes with respect to bid proposals. Liaising with Head Office & other jurisdictional bid teams to leverage generic tender information, templates, as well as ensuring the company methodology for managing bid submissions is consistently applied. Managing and maintaining a system of up to date standard business development information for use by all staff, including but not limited to: CVs, project profiles, standard documentation library and org charts. Preparation and input into marketing materials such as presentations, handouts, booklets, etc. Preparation of post tender presentations. The successful candidate will have: Minimum of 2 years’ experience within construction industry. Qualification in Desktop Publishing or Graphic Design. The ability to fully utilise the following software packages: Microsoft Office; Publisher; Word; PowerPoint; Visio; Adobe InDesign. Self-motivated, proactive and ability use own initiative. Problem solving experience. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrate a diligent and methodical approach to tasks. Desirable. The ability to fully utilise the following software packages: Microsoft Office: Excel; Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) Benefits.
