Web Developer. My client is looking for an experience Web Developer to join a team with excellence in service and a transparent technology platform that breaks the cycle of costly data duplication while strengthening controls and giving clients real-time access to their data. They specialise in developing, integrating and managing state of the art technology workflow solutions. Where a good commercial solution exists, they have chosen strategic partners to provide functionality. You will join a team that has many years of experience designing, developing, maintaining and operating the sophisticated applications that alternative business demand. They divide work into two week iterations so they are able to respond to changes in business priorities very quickly and leverage automated testing to rapidly deploy releases of our applications with confidence. Job Responsibilities. JavaScript and CSS developer with demonstrable modern framework/library experience, a willingness to participate in the creation and maintenance of discrete applications written in React, AngularJS, or EmberJS. Must like unit and WebDriver and JEST testing, particularly `test-first` Work on server side python components. Excellent communication skills. Good problem solver. Assist QAs in the creation and maintenance of automated tests to validate business expectation of the implementation. Follow a defined development process. Work across multi-cultural teams. Experience with Extreme Programming or other Agile software development lifecycle. Requirements: 3+ years development experience. 1+ years’ experience of front-end JavaScript development. An interest in Test Driven Development, continuous code reviews, and pairing is a must. Experience of Git. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Preferred: SVG or D3 skills especially around data visualizations. Experience of K/V or document stores preferred (Redis, Mongo, Couch etc.) Experience with messaging brokers a plus (sonic, IBM.
