Our Established Retail Client is looking to Recruit a Good Quality Fresh Food Manager for their South West Cork Based Store. Candidate will need to live locally, have their own Transport and have good Fresh Food Supervisor/Manager Experience. Title: Fresh Food Manager. Responsible to: Store Management. Responsible for: All employees within Fresh Food area. Main Purpose of the Job: To ensure the Fresh Food Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provides our customers with excellent quality products and services. Main Duties: To actively live the brand values and engage others to do the same. To ensure all staff reporting to you are of a minimum required standard of training to work in a fresh food area. To drive Sales through customer initiatives and staff knowledge. To ensure duties and functions of staff members are carried out effectively and efficiently. To ensure the highest standard of customer service is given to all customers at all times. To ensure weekly stocktaking procedures are adhered to across all Fresh Departments. To ensure purchasing of stock is carried out in accordance with procedures and control of stock rotation, so that quality and freshness of goods is of the highest order so as to maximise turnover. To monitor and control department overheads. To ensure company rules, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. To attend weekly management meetings and hold staff communication meetings regularly. To maintain quality procedures and focus on continuous improvement. To seek to enhance product knowledge by gaining information from a range of sources and to share this product knowledge with staff and customers. To ensure hygiene standards are to the highest standards including a comprehensive HACCP plan and appropriate staff training. To ensure merchandising and presentation of the department is to the highest standard at all times. To ensure standard and promotional pricing is maintained correctly. To be aware of and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations relevant to your department and to notify any breaches to management.
