Our client in Cork is currently looking for a number of experienced Manufacturing Technicians for permanent roles. These role’s will be responsible for smooth running of all products in a high volume production environment including SMT, Chip on Board Auto Insertion, PTH, and general PCB/ Boxbuild assembly. The Role: Preventative maintenance to be carried out according to Schedule. Change order Implementation. Product Performance. Continuous Process Improvements. Responsible for Tooling Procurement and Spares Purchasing. Machine Performance and daily monitoring. Understand, Use and improve in house Procedures. Improved line yields and overall quality of products. Monitoring of machine Up-time. Requirements. Minimum of 2/3 years SMT & PTH assembly experience in a busy manufacturing environment. Diploma/Certificate in Engineering or equivalent. An excellent understanding of medical device manufacturing. Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
