Business Intelligence Analyst required for leading Cork based client. Reporting to the DW Applications Manager, the Business Intelligence Analyst will join our client’s IT Solutions Team who are primarily responsible for the enhancement, maintenance and support of a range of corporate (often complex in nature) financial applications. You will work closely with BI business analysts and end users to design and deploy financial management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to work with a range of technologies including Oracle Databases, OBIEE, ETL, SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS. The Business Intelligence Analyst will: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with multiple business units to identify business intelligence requirements. Create reports and/or visualisations to meet business requirements. Learn and understand existing e-Business database objects/structures. Provide support as required to business units / internal customers on BI related issues. Provide analytical support by co-ordinating data extraction from various sources. Develop custom ETL code. Create user documentation. Work on multiple projects simultaneously. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: A 3rd Level Qualification. 5+ years experience in a business intelligence role. SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and/or SSRS experience. Good Oracle Database experience. Good troubleshooting experience. Good documentation experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
