TITLE: Supply Chain Stores Manager. Industry: Medical Device. Department: Store. Reports To: Supply Chain Manager. Salary 35-45k. JOB SUMMARY: Our client is looking for bright individial to implement change in our Warhouse. The Store Manager/Supply Chain leader will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager. Listed below is a broad description of the requirements of a Supply Chain Leader and this list is inclusive of the normal duties. Knowledge of production would be a distint advantage. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for all Store team members. Be the main point of contact for Management in your area of responsibility. Be familiar with every operation in your area of responsibility - Receiving - Receiving/Inspection. Shipping - Depuy/Stryker & all other business. Stock - Replenishing/Counts/Rotation. Reporting - Stock/Time & Attendance/Team Performance & Training. Assist Supply Chain Manager with completion of work plans by Scheduling and Assigning Personnel; Accomplishing Work Results; Establishing Priorities; Monitoring Stock Levels, Weekly Orders. Assist Supply Chain Manager in organising cover during holidays and sick leave. Monitor Waste Management in your area of responsibility. Liaise with Maintenance Department to ensure collection of all waste (IBC's) on a regular basis. Maintain quality standard by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Coordinate, attend and lead team meetings. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating, directing personnel and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensure constant operation of equipment by calling Maintenance immediately for repairs. Provide information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing stock levels records and data; answering questions and responding to requests, reordering all consumables. Ensure Data on Gemba Board is kept up to date & filled in Daily. Coach colleagues on entering data on Gemba Board correctly. Gather Gemba Board Sheets weekly and hand to Doc Control. Add new sheets to Gemba Board as required. Speak at each Gemba meeting. Identify Process Improvements with Team Members and drive their implementation.(barcoding/scanners. Prepare reports if required by Supply Chain Manager. Manage Team Performance and Progress. Identify gaps in Training & Requirements to Supply Chain Manager. Assist with the resolution of personnel problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action & reporting of same to the Supply Chain Manager.
