Senior HR Generalist – Fixed term contract. I am delighted to announce that The Kilkenny Group have a fantastic position for an energetic, diligent and passionate Senior HR Generalist to join our team on a fixed term bases. The role reports to the Head of Retail, and works closely with all Heads of Departments, Line Managers and Colleagues. This currently involves supporting 15 stores nationally, 2 restaurants, On-line shop, Buying, Logistics, Marketing IT and Finance. The role will work in close collaboration with all line managers to ensure that an environment of learning, performance, dignity and respect is fostered with all colleagues. Training & development will play a key part in the daily life of all colleagues at Kilkenny. As a Senior HR Generalist you will play a key role in that top talent is recruited and that compliant and quality HR policies & procedures, are in place and adhered to by all stores and departments. You will act as an Advisor and Coach on good HR Policies, Processes, and Practices, while also ensuring that line managers are equipped to fully implement them. Key Responsibilities: Coaching and Advice to Line Management - Providing HR support and advice to Line Managers regarding all aspects of People Development and the implementation of HR Policies and Practices. Training - Put a Framework in place which defines the Policy and Process for line management to identify training needs, using skills specified in Job Profiles and are based on the needs of the business. Recruitment and Selection - Lead line management in the recruitment and selection of top talent. People Development - take active steps to promote the importance and value of People Development and Learning, and differentiate it from skills and knowledge training. Performance Management - Plan and Implement the Performance Management cycle, including goal setting, regular progress reviews, training and development plans, and annual performance reviews. Employee Engagement - Ensuring internal communications via email, conference calls and the intranet are informative and interactive. Promoting our EAP and driving employee inniatives. HR Policies - Implement and maintain group HR Policies and procedures, and ensuring they are legally compliant.
