As the Retail Demand Planner for Europe, Middle East and Africa you will be responsible for analysing Retail and Online trends to construct both the short term and long-range (quarterly) sales unit forecast in each of our stores. Evaluating baseline sales vs incremental demand and presenting your assumptions to senior leadership to agree consensus is key to this role. You will be working closely with our team in Cupertino, California & Retail Merchandising teams in London along with local supply planners who will execute to your forecast. You will get to work on setting the Retail demand forecasts for the amazing new products that Apple introduces on a regular basis. You will manage these products right thru their lifecycle from launch day in Apple Amsterdam's store to end of life in Apple Zorlu (Turkey) store. Description: Maintain Goal Service Level for Apple Customers through managing Demand Forecasts across all Retail Stores in EMEA. Reporting and presentation of executive reviews. Ability to sell, back up & present forecasts to senior management. Ownership of the management of your product lines. Forecast consumer demand using statistical and collaborative forecasting techniques. Display best practice forecasting methodology through generation of Demand Forecasts. Prepare consumer and store demand data, and conduct detailed analysis to minimise forecast error. Drive and develop automated solutions and enhancements to optimise Retail Fulfilment. Plan new store requirements and ensure fulfilment. Plan and execute seasonal strategies. Plan and execute New Product Introductions. Support merchandising objectives, planograms, promotions etc. Work with Retail and Operations groups for New Store Openings. Education: Masters/Bachelors degree ideally, however applicants with 3-5 years relevant experience in this area will also be considered.
