The AppleCare Procedures and Communications team has an opening for a content developer to support our European (EMEIA) operations. In this role, you'll work on projects of varying size that cross multiple Apple roles and business units. The ideal candidate will be a technical specialist who is well versed in Apple processes and programs. Key Qualifications: oAble to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable using text and imagery. oCommunicates concisely and clearly in oral and written forms. oStrong knowledge of regional regulatory and consumer protection laws. oExperience interpreting questions on regions-specific regulator and consumer protection laws. oAbility to juggle multiple projects on tight timelines. oAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, build credibility with stakeholders, work independently, and be proactive. oAbility to maintain confidentiality around business projects. oPassion for providing a great user experience. oExperience writing technical documentation. oAble to travel domestically and internationally for three or more weeks throughout the year. oAble to host and attend meetings within hours of operations for a worldwide stakeholder population. oExperience with project management is preferred. oExperience with HTML and CSS is preferred. Description: As an AppleCare Procedures Content Developer, you will use data analysis, end-user feedback, and your knowledge of business processes to recommend updates to existing procedures, and to propose new procedures. You will use your superior writing skills to turn stakeholders ideas into clear and concise procedural guidance. You will need to make decisions within short timeframes and with limited information, so good judgement and attention to detail is required for success. Education: Past experience as a technical writer and/or editor is preferred. Bachelors degree in a related field and/or 4 years relevant business experience is required.
