Senior MRO Buyer DMG54092 (Cork) Eden Recruitment has been retained by a well established and growing diversified Company to source an experienced Senior MRO Buyer to join their organisation. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, and working within a Procurement tewam of 4 this role will be responsible for a multi million Euro annual spend across MRO. The role will be responsible for managing the current supply base and work to consolidate that supplier base, as the Group moves to a more integrated and centralised procurement strategy. Ideal Candidate Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Procurement or similar. 7 years plus purchasing/procurement experience with experience purchasing MRO categories. Strong supplier management experience required including supplier quality management. Experience within a Multi site Manufacturing environment preferably Food or Pharma is preferred. Strong track record of contract negotiation is required. Strong Financial and Commercial Management skills. Good working knowledge of ERP is required. Experience working within a Continuous Improvement environment is desirable. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a cross functional company environment.
