Exceptional opportunity for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join my Client a leading Organisation in the Healthcare Sector on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: To take full responsibility for accurate processing of his/her payroll and to have a general awareness of other payroll matters within the department. To assess and meet payroll deadlines and allow appropriate time for checking. To oversee and ensure paypath deadlines are met for all payrolls. To liaise with the IT dept with regard to any system problems that may be encountered. To liaise with Intelligo in relation to maintenance/upgrade of payroll system. To be responsible for the downloading of Tax credits from the Revenue on a weekly basis. To liaise with Grade V with regard to daily payroll duties and delegate to clerical officers. To ensure all deadlines relating to the authorisation of Time and Attendance clock cards by Line Managers are adhered to. To deal with all payroll queries with efficiency and professionalism in a courteous and respectful manner. To process the payment of Monthly / fortnightly Pensions contributions to Irish Life. To check authorised hours for payment from Time and Attendance system for accuracy. To ensure all employee letters for completion are actioned within three working days. To undertake additional duties as delegated by Grade V to assist in the smooth running of the department. The successful candidate will be IPASS Qualified with 5-6 years experience of processing very high volume payrolls with regular changes. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential coupled with an ability to work on his/her own initiative. Strong IT capabilities and experience of working with Megapay and a Time Management System is advantageous. A flexible approach with high levels of accuracy is a must.
