Accounts Payable Analyst (Travel & Expense) - 6 month contract. We are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Analyst, to specialize in Travel & Expenses (T&E) to join our team in Carrigaline on a 6 month contract basis. We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. This role is responsible for the daily oversight and support associated with employee travel and expenses. On a daily basis this position will interact directly with our employee base and with external service providers to ensure compliance to our T&E and Smart Spend Policy. This position will work closely with the Controls & Reporting Manager to drive efficiency and cost savings through analytics, reporting and auditing. Principal Accountabilities: Responsible for the daily oversight and support associated with employee travel and expense claims. Reviewing expense reports that have been submitted by employees. Audit expense reports to ensure the charges are in compliance with Smart Spend and T&E Policy, ensuring the proper receipts are attached. Maintain the utmost confidentiality regarding data contained on the employees expenses. Mailbox monitoring and administration. Responsible for ordering credit card and distributing to employees plus cancelling cards for terminated employees. Create monthly reports providing analysis of aged un-submitted expense and follow up with employees to provide. Provide scorecard data on a monthly basis and work towards reducing. Completion of key tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting at month end. Exercise internal controls in order to maintain compliance with financial policies and Global Control Standards, and actively review same for continued compliance. Deal with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance of audits and statutory requirements. Preparation of documentation and analysis of current processes with a view to standardization, automation & elimination. Actively investigate and understand best practice looking for new opportunities to implement/develop these into the PepsiCo Ireland Controls & Reporting Team. Explore opportunities to drive efficiencies and improved KPI's through automation and process improvements. Maintain and develop best practice documentation on processes within your remit. Involvement with the Company's efforts to ensure compliance with all commercial, company, environmental, safety and other legislation. A requirement of the role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements. Essential Skills: Proven demonstrated track record in a busy Accounts Payable environment, ideally multi-national focused. Exposure to and working knowledge of SAP. Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, particularly at month end. Strong team player with good communication skills, who can interact with other departments and management. Self-sufficient with the ability and desire to work efficiently and productively in a multi-task environment on a daily basis. Ability to identify opportunities and manage change programs - to streamline/ reengineer existing processes and influence people to implement them. Ability to identify issues on a timely basis, identify an action plan to resolve issues and influence others to implement the action plan. Flexibility, multi task and good people skills with experience in high volume of expense reports submitted on a monthly basis is highly desirable.
