The Company: Frank V Murphy & Company is a long established Cork based Auctioneering practice, which has been in business for over 50 years. The Role: A vacancy has now arisen for a permanent part time Bookkeeper. It is envisaged that the role will be the equivalent of 1 day per week but the hours of work will be flexible. Could possibly suit a bookkeeper who works in a number of businesses on a part time basis and has capacity to take on an addition assignment. Keys attributes , duties & skills required: Experience in Bookkeeping in a small office environment. Working knowledge of Sage Accounting Software. Posting of purchase and sales invoices on a timely basis. Maintenance of accurate cash receipts and payments records. Reconciling Bank Accounts monthly. Competence in the use of modern software packages and a willingness to learn new systems. Capable of working on own initiative and also as part of a small team of committed professionals. Fluency in spoken and written English. Interest in and knowledge of the property sector, will be a definite advantage.
