Breakfast Chef & Chef De Partie Required - Kinsale. Our client in Kinsale is currently seeking to fill 2 Fulltime permanent positions - Breakfast Chef and Chef De Partie. Breakfast Chef - This Chef will be responsible for busy breakfast service in the hotel and all prep and ordering in association with this service. The Chef will also be available to assist the rest of the kitchen team when necessary and ensure the kitchen is clean and ready for lunch service. The successful candidate will be well organised and able to work on their own initiative, and will be able to handle high pressure busy service. Key Criteria required: Experience in a similar role in a quality establishment -at least 1 year. Ability to maintain a consistent high standard of food deliver y. Positive and flexible approach to work. Eye for detail and always striving for improvement. Contribute to a positive productive team environment. Adhere to the strictest of health and safety regulations. Ensure all guest requests are met. Chef De Partie- This Chef will be responsible for managing their own section during busy service as well as assisting with mise en place and prep for all service, functions and events. The successful candidate will work in a team environment be willing and eager to learn and develop skills and techniques and contribute to the learning and development of junior team members. Key Criteria required: 1-2 years' experience in a quality establishment. An eye for detail, plating and presentation. Interested in menu development and are creative. Have a passion for food. Constantly striving to build on existing skills. Love busy high pressure service. Are a team player, career focused and ambitious. Hard working, efficient and organised.
