Banqueting Chef / Senior Chef De Partie. Location: Cork- 30 mins from City. Salary: 30-35K. Banqueting Chef required for beautifully located Cork Hotel. This is a senior position with this Chef taking responsible for all banqueting needs of the hotel as required. The position will allow some flexibility with their roster and role and will be reporting to the Head Chef. The ideal Banqueting Chef will have experience in Restaurant, Fine Dining & Banqueting. This Hotel operates at the high end of the market, and is seeking an exceptional candidate .Preferably from the 4* hotel background with a mix of Fine Dining, Contemporary and Banqueting Menus. The Job Requirements: At Least 2/3 years' experience in 4* star hotels. Banqueting Experience up to 300pax. Flexible Hours. A good attitude and to be able to create a dynamic team environment. Menu development and creativity. To develop and manage a competent and capable team to ensure the smooth and successful running of the kitchen. To maintain and improve on existing standards of operations. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with all Health and safety law. Work autonomously with the support of Head Chef. Trustworthy, Loyal and Honest. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior chef with function experience to take control of a busy outlet while still having the support and guidance of an executive chef.
