EPS Group have an excellent opportunity to join our IT team. The role of IT Desktop Supportwould be involved in day to day end user support and also directly supporting the in-house team with our busy IT department . This position is located at our Headoffice in Mallow, Co. Cork. As one of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing a fast, efficient, friendly service. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, work well on their own initiative and with fellow employees as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have; Good knowledge ofIT Concepts and associated technologies: Desktops, laptops, tablets and printers, Operating systems – Windows 7 and 10 Pro. Proficiency in using standard desktop applications – e-Mail, MS-Office, browser usage etc. Knowledge of Anti-Virus, Backups and Microsoft Updates. Knowledge of hardware & software installation, changes, moves and troubleshooting. Strong proactive customer service and interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. Must have the ability to work independently or a part of a team. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Previous technical support experience a bonus but not essential.
