GENERAL SCOPE OFRESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that equipment and project specifications issued by the company are adequate to convey the process requirements for ‘clean’ room and/or general building service installations. Monitor design, development and installation work and ensure compliance with the companies requirements and procedures. Ensure that process and building service systems for projects and new equipment, which have GMP significance are validated in accordance with company requirements, policies and procedures. Review suppliers and report on their suitability to execute work for the company. Assist as required in improvement of Engineering standards. Work with the projects team to ensure maintenance and reliability are considered as part of the design phase. Proven record of co-ordinating, leading and implementing FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis) studies for process equipment. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : 5+ year’s process / project management experience with a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering. Chartered Engineer an advantage but not a requirement. Knowledge of process and utilities equipment. Knowledge of GMP Environment. Must have a thorough understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, industry practices and standards. Must be able to apply knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs. Strong verbal, technical writing, project management and interpersonal skills are required.
