Fastnet The Talent Group are now recruiting for a Qualified Maintenance Fitter with a leading Pharmaceutical client based in Cork. JOB DESCRIPTION. Purpose of Role. To provide the necessary manning to ensure that the maintenance department provides a high quality service to Manufacturing and all other departments. Responsibilities. Proactively maintain/repair mechanical /electrical systems on site. Adhere to the maintenance and engineering sops. Complete all work as per the job card procedure. Be proactive and assist other departments in fault finding and trouble shooting. Provide a high quality service to manufacturing and identify improvement opportunities. Liaise closely with Purchasing Materials Team Leader re. spare parts and purchasing materials for maintenance. Actively participate and support operational excellence projects. Operate the plant cover system. Work within the Maintenance department to achieve continuous improvement. Complete appropriate training programmes. Understand and comply with SOP's applicable to the area. Understand and comply with the relevant GMP standards applicable to the area. Person Specification. Qualified Mechanical Fitter. 2 -3 years' Experience. Meticulous with a good attention to detail. Able to build relationships and work across the site.
