Sigmar have an exciting new requirement for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead in Cork. This is a permanent role, offering not only a good package but the opportunity to work with a market-leading employer. The overall purpose of this role is to drive and maintain best practice standards across a manufacturing site. You will be responsible for coordinating all site activities of the QA team on site to meet customer requirements and compliance targets. Core Duties & Responsibilities: Attend regular review meetings. Delegate, monitor and complete customer complaint investigations. Act as first point of contact on site for customer visits and audits. Audit feedback, quality issues and communication of legislation changes. Measure outcomes of technical issues, supplier issues, hygiene, documentation, etc. Promote a best practice Food Safety culture on site. Assign projects to team members as appropriate. Manage and continuously improve QA process across the site. Ensure all production planning is compliant with legislation, internal policies and customer requirements. Person Specification: Third level degree in Science or related discipline. 5-10 years’ experience within a Food Manufacturing Environment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with the ability to influence individuals of all levels. Proven experience within a leadership role. Previous history of achieving targets through teamwork.
