Sigmar are currently seeking an experienced Quality Officer on behalf of our Cork-based client. This is a permanent opportunity offering an excellent package. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintain and managing key components of the quality assurance programme for two production sites. You will ensure compliance with internal policies, food safety standards and customer requirements. As well as monitoring compliance, you will also report statistics/data on the internal database. Core Duties & Responsibilities: Develop policies, procedures and risk assessments (including HACCP) to meet ISO 22000 requirements. Coordinate an audit plan for both sites and report any non-compliance as appropriate. Document sampling and testing plans. Liaise with the QA Manager to lead and facilitate customer and regulatory audits. Coach management and ground staff on new standards, requirements and procedures. Candidate Specification: Third level degree (Food Science & Technology, Microbiology. 2-5 years experience in a QA Food Manufacturing environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to work on own initiative. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable to change.
