Role: Assistant Food Production Manager. Salary: €30,000– 40,000 K. LocationCork. Job Type: Permanent. Report to : Production Manager. An Assistant Production Manager is required by our Cork Based Food Client Company,a Permanent role as part of the Production Management structure. Day Shift Role - Mon to Fri with either 7am or 10am Start. Key areas of responsibility. Actively participate in the day to day leadership of the Production lines including direct support to the production team members. Ensure that quality standards and expectations are communicated and deployed. Ensure quality objectives (rework, waste, line clearance, documentation, line shutdown) are met. Production Control – Assist / Manage and prioritise production, to meet customer requirements while maintaining efficiencies. Ensure that all hygiene standards are maintained through communication with Production Operators and cleaning personnel. Qualification Knowledge Skills. One to three years experience in a production environment is desirable. Third level qualification in Food / Dairy Science an advantage. “Hands on” individual prepared to take on responsibility. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of HACCP. Self starter, with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical and problem solving skills and ability to multi task.
