Warehouse Manager with a Leading Manufacturing Company in the West Cork area. Based in West Cork and reporting to the General Manager, this role requires candidates who can bring strong operational experience to the table, as well as offer innovative and strategic management to an ever evolving Warehouse Environment. The role will have 3 direct reports and will be tasked with delivering ongoing process improvement within a Continuous Improvement environment and also to become a leader in the identification and implementation of new WMS technology across the Warehouse footprint. Main Duties: Manage deliveries in to the warehouse on a daily basis, ensuring appropriate quality checks are carried out. Manage customer orders, arrange picking lists and organise transportation with hauliers. Manage the warehouse operatives to ensure best practice methods are used within the warehouse. Deal with any quality issues that may arise from customers/suppliers. Maintain quality records in line with companies quality policy. Look for areas of Continuous Improvement to ensure the efficient running of the operation. Liaise with other departments of the business where required. The Person: 4 years plus Warehouse Operations Management within busy environment required. Must be able to manage day to day operations but also be able to be involved in key strategy planning and implementation across the entire company. Strong communication skills, with ability to work within a cross functional environment. Strong people management skills and be very action and results focussed.
