HRBP. Our client is looking for a very strong HR professional to join their growing team. Strong in all Generalist functions and strategy this is a very exciting opportunity. Commercial awareness is a distinct advantage and experience from sectors such as BPO, Shared Service and Hotels is advantageous. Responsibilities: Be the People Champion within the Business Unit. Work closely with the onsite recruitment team to ensure that the business are getting the right candidates for the roles that are vacant and drive a timely turnaround, ensuring right cultural “fit”. Actively put in place initiatives to reduce attrition. Work with the Business Unit to increase morale and employee satisfaction. Identify training gaps in the management team within the Business Unit and identify and recommend improvement opportunities. Have a deep understanding of the root cause of what Employee Relations issues managers are dealing with and proactively look for solutions to reduce these. Coach and support people managers to enable them to live by company values in a fair and equitable manner. Facilitate the Employee Development Programme and ensure that it is consistently deployed across the Business Unit. Introduce a robust and fair succession planning process to assist with developing people’s potential in addition to making provisions for contingency. Manage and drive the performance management system. Work with management to ensure policy and practice is understood by keeping the business informed of any amendments. Challenge decision makers on choices being made to ensure they are the best for the business. Work in conjunction with the operation to continually improve the people segment of the balanced scorecard. Proactively support the management of attendance in order to decrease absenteeism. Engage in and take ownership of personal development and career planning. Find ways to do things better for yourself, the team, company, the customer and the Client. Use initiative and creativity to recommend ideas or positive changes in managing employee relations. Maintain account knowledge, including attending relevant Advisor product and process training. Communicate and reinforce quality standards. Monitor, analyse (call calibration) and act to ensure quality standards are met. Manage front office calls when required. Drive quality through coaching. Communicate and set clear expectations of team and individual performance. Manage team to deliver on commitments – right people, right plan, and right place. Take escalated calls. Engage in and take ownership of personal development and career planning. Foster the right environment for idea generation. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline. CIPD Qualification. 1 - 3 years’ experience as Human Resource Generalist. Proficient in Microsoft packages. Proven ability to build relationships. People management experience. Strong knowledge of Irish Employment Law. Relevant training/coaching certificate and advantage. Strong commercial acumen is desirable.
