This role will provide direction to the Planning & Logistics function to achieve the priorities of: Safety, Compliance, World Class Supply, People and Cost. They will be responsible for identifying risks within the supply chain and partnering with support areas to develop mitigation plans. They will provide tactical and strategic direction and promote the behaviours and principles which drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Ensure on time supply to Global customer base. Responsible for site capacity planning and alignment with Capacity Planning models. Support New Product launches and alignment to Franchise initiatives. Identify target areas for business process improvements and manage projects to ensure achievement of results. Support linkage of strategic goals to current market/customer environment and corporate strategy. Financial Stewardship: Annual operating plan, inventory management, budget planning and control. Work with planning community to share internal and external Supply chain Management best practices and industry trends. Identify potential gaps and recommend solutions in areas of Supply performance, Sales & Operations Planning, Capacity Planning, and Forecasting. Lead cross site team providing ongoing coaching and support, including the development and performance management of individuals. Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement by deploying Six Sigma tools within the Materials function on projects such as: Customer Supply, Value Chain Management, problem solving, reducing cycle time, Lean principles within the process. Develop an effective, focused and strong team by understanding: their abilities, unique contribution and broadening their skill set to be agile and prepared for any future business requirements. Qualifications. Degree or 3rd level qualification (Business, Science, Engineering). Preference for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Demonstrated leadership experience. Stakeholder management of multiple decision makers; franchise and marketing colleagues, customers, and. Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain or operations leadership, in the Pharmaceutical industry or a similar operating industry. Demonstrated leadership and change management skills with a continuous improvement focus. Solid business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
