Purpose of Role: Work in managing Raw Materials Sub-assemblies and Finished Goods, for a Global Medical Device manufacturer. Your role will require you to operate within our customer’s sites and therefore interact with the customer throughout the day. Principle Function and Accountabilities: Customer Service. Customer Service experience, in a Logistics, Warehousing or Freight operation desirable. Requirement to work as a representative of Flex on a customer site. Participate in all internal and external audits. Develop and maintain customer interaction standards. Ability to pro-actively resolve issues with customers. Ability to prioritise and expedite work effectively as per customer requirementsand be accountable. Excellent Communication Skills. Must be comfortable dealing with individuals across various “positions” Daily Operations. Receive, Putaway & Pick Material. Verify product received in according with Medical Device Customer procedures. Receive & Deliver Non Inventory Items to Business Units / Individuals. Receive using RF scanners / PCs to book and scan Materials into correct locations. Temperature Monitoring & Reporting. Prepare any shipments or returns to external facilities. Manifest Shipments using Carrier Software. Handle released and unreleased goods in accordance with customer’s procedures. Reporting of damaged stock. Ad hoc duties as required. Personal Attributes Required. Attention to detail & accuracy of work. Excellent ability to communicate. Excellent team player. Excellent time-keeper. Proven ability to work to daily/weekly/monthly schedules. Flexibility in working hours and shift patterns. Eagerness to learn. Positive and Can Do attitude. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to operate within warehousing and manufacturing areas where PPE is required and provided. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move material around the customer site and other sites on the same campus.
