Exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is setting up its first Europen office in Cork. This Australian company is coming to Europe and their HQ will be based in Cork!! Fun, dynamic, culturally diverse travel company with a start-up feel. You will be responsible for: Recruitment. P&D Strategy, Organisational Development and Learning and Development. Change management and organisational design. P&D information supporting effective business performance. The first year will look like this…. Setting up the Cork office with the support of your Australian colleagues. The recruitment of 20 staff members within the first year. Setting the culture and tone of the Cork office which will be the European HQ. Implementing local policy and procedure. You: CIPD qualified. Minimum of 5 years hands on generalist experience. Previous start-up environment or experience in satellite office of larger company would be advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of the importance of providing high quality P&D metrics and how they can be used to inform decision making. A desire to build an inclusive culture that embodies company values. A passion for travel ! You will have the support of a global organisation and the culture of a start-up. You will play a key role in ensuring the business' Ireland & UK managers and employees receive expertise and support across all P&D functions, in conjunction with the global People & Development team. This position exists to ensure core P&D administration and support meets the requirements of the business' internal customers to ensure wider business strategy and goals are achieved. You will develop a local P&D strategy to support the Company strategy and assist leaders to drive people capability, improve business performance and create a high performance culture aligned to company culture and values.
