Senior L&D Specialist. Cork. Our client, a leading multinational in the IT sector is recruiting a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to work on their site in Cork on a part-time contractor basis. Responsibilities. Supporting the EMEA L&D Team and local leaders to ensure organisational objectives are met. Partner with the L&D Leader, HR and other business areas to deliver against business-wide learning needs. Establish and manage key business relationships and work closely with different business units across the EMEA region. Collaborating regionally and globally with Subject Matter Experts to execute projects and ensure they align with the overall business strategy. Partner with L&D Operations team and business partners to implement corporate level programmes. Design, develop and implement solutions to specific business problems. Manage and deliver scalable training solutions. Establish key measures for success across learning programmes and deliver metrics reports on effectiveness. Deliver in-class and virtual training as agreed across business units. Requirements. Third level degree in HR/Training/Psychology/Organisational Development or similar relevant area. Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Senior L&D role preferably within a multinational. Experience designing and facilitating training including carrying out Training Needs Analysis across the business. Experience in implementing Talent Management/Development Programmes and using a variety of tools/models to achieve results. Demonstrated success in Learning and Development programme delivery. Knowledge of emerging trends in Learning and Development. Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Strong stakeholder management with ability is influence and negotiate at all levels across the business.
