Our client is a leading supplier of mobility and rehabilitation care products. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Rehabilitation Product Specialist to join their team. This is the ideal role for an ambitious sales professional, a qualified clinical professional or a technical specialist looking to develop their sales career with a leading company renowned for their high standards and personal service. You’ll receive extensive training, as well as excellent remuneration to ensure that you make a success of your role and are motivated and driven to do so. As a Rehabilitation Product Specialist, you will be responsible for selling our client’s high quality mobility and rehabilitation equipment via clinical professionals and directly to private customers. Working alongside occupational therapists across an allocated territory, you’ll identify new business opportunities for private customer sales and utilise leads gained from marketing initiatives. Dealing with primarily elderly or disabled people, you will conduct face-to-face assessments with them alongside their therapists and propose solutions that will usually be funded by the HSE. A major element of your role will be to develop relationships with therapy professionals to ensure confidence, trust and continued business. As such, you will remain in regular contact with your account base and will keep them updated with any new initiatives or additions to the product range. Your other duties will include: - Developing sales of new products. - Providing training for clients as required. - Ensuring your own training and knowledge is up-to-date and regularly refreshed. - Maintaining accurate client records. To be considered for this role, you must be one of the following: - An experienced sales professional who is familiar with sales to the HSE via client assessments with occupational therapists OR. - A clinically qualified physiotherapist or occupational therapist with sales experience and the desire to work in sales OR. - From a technical background with the capacity to understand the route to market and work in a professional sales capacity. A full, clean driving licence and a good level of IT literacy are also essential. As a Rehabilitation Product Specialist, you must possess strong communication skills, a persistent and resilient approach and the ability to work on your own initiative.
