Our client based in Cork is seeking the following for a 6 month contract: Job Description: I/T Supply Chain Services Laboratory Manufacturing & Warehouse Support Analyst. Reporting to: Service Delivery Lead (SDL. Responsibilities: • Responsible for administering and troubleshooting PC Operating System Environment (e.g. Windows 7) at site in accordance with established procedures, including: account management, group management, NTFS permission management, and share management. • Responsible for desk-side hardware support, including but not limited to PC installation, maintenance, peripheral installation, and printers. • Responsible for Active Directory account creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Configuration and set up of GXP PCS including Installation Qualification using approved process and documentation. • Completing GXP documentation as required. • Supports the GXP PC’s ensuring the business downtime is minimised. • Support of integration of LMW IT Peripheral equipment (instruments/scanners etc) and assisting in incident and problems investigations ensuring quick resolution of issues. Escalating infrastructure issues to supplier/manufacturer as required. • Interacts with technical support staff of hardware and software vendors as needed. • Manage the control of change GXP PCs and Workstations and associate environments following defined Change Control Processes. • Responsible for supporting remote network access, using standard remote access services. • Maintains the inventory of all hardware under your control. • Communicating with site users on IT advisories as required (e.g. scheduling shut downs etc. • Completing development projects assigned and delivery to agreed standards and timelines. Skills/Experience: • Be technically competent on the technologies in use within the company and preferably with a relevant (computing) 3rd Level Degree qualification. • Windows Server 2008,2012 VMware and CCNA, certification/experience an advantage. • Strong troubleshooting OS Skills, Win 7 etc. • Experience with using imaging (Backup Recovery) software an advantage. • Ability to problem solve. • Experience in a validated/qualified (GXP) environment would be beneficial with working knowledge of Manufacturing applications. • Excellent communication skills (oral, business writing, presenting and listening. • Personal qualities should include, motivation, flexibility, initiative and commitment. • Strong customer focus and service orientation.
