Our client is one of Ireland's largest independent insurance brokers with offices throughout Ireland. They are currently seeking to recruit a Commercial Lines Account Executive who will be based in their Cork office. The roles involve servicing a commercial portfolio of clients to retain existing business and generate new business. Responsibilities Include: Providing day to day support and servicing to existing clients on their insurance needs - issuing renewal documentation including renewal comparisons and market research to ensure best terms for the client, finalising insurance placements and updating policy schedules. Identifying new business opportunities and following up by issuing quotations to the client. Developing strong working relationships with clients and generally supporting them with any queries, making suggestions to them to improve / add to their cover arrangements, and attending client meetings as appropriate. Maintaining good file management and documentation to ensure compliance with all legal requirements. Liaising and negotiating with insurance companies. Staying up to date on insurance products / rates and competitor activity in the market place. Skills & Experience Required: Fully CIP or APA in Commercial Insurance. Minimum of 2 - 5 years commercial insurance broking experience. Good knowledge of commercial insurances product ranges across the various markets for commercial property, employer's liability and public liability, and commercial fleet.
