This Irish nutraceutical company has been operating for over 30 years and are looking for export compliance specialist to support expanding regulatory compliance obligations in their nutraceutical business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and an interest in export compliance in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of non-EU/global export controls applicable to nutraceutical and manufacturing, experience in a Quality role within the food or pharma industry, as well as the demonstrated ability to define/execute/improve existing and new process. Flexi time is available for this role. Role And Responsibilities. Assembly of product dossiers for countries outside the EU where needed to register products before they can export. For Example Russia, China, Nigeria, Thailand. Compile registration dossiers for nutraceutical products in non EU countries. Research and comply with legal requirements affecting export of goods to non EU countries. Sign off packaging artwork in compliance with legal requirements. Liaise with the competent authority in the importing country. In addition, the following duties will be part of your role as the export compliance specialist. Preparation and organisation of pre and post shipping documentation such as : -Free sale certificate. -Veterinary Health Certificates. Working internally with the group Commercial Director, Quality Mgr, Production Manager, Buyer (Re export deliveries) & Veterinary Manager. Liasing externally with the Laboratories, raw material suppliers. The Department of Agriculture, Chamber of commerce, Embassies, partners export registration departments. Education And Experience. Bachelors Science degree preferred. Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma. strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases. Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA and R&D. 5 years minimum experience in a food or pharma environment. Key Competencies. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent numerative skills.
