Lead Auditor (Quality Engineer. Overview. Due to our continued growth, Evolusion Innovation has an excellent opportunity for a Lead Auditor to join our Auditing and Inspection Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and conducting of compliance audits in accordance with the construction product regulations, and construction site inspections in accordance with construction product installation assurance schemes. Main duties and Responsibilities. Conduct audits (desk-based or on clients` sites) in accordance with the Construction Product Regulations and ISO 9001 management systems; Maintain a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective client relationships and ongoing business development; Complete all chargeable work within the required budget and time-frame to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain business efficiency; Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfill client expectations; Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist the planning and management of operations. Minimum Requirements. Third Level Degree (Level 8) in Engineering or Construction related discipline; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality management, auditing or inspection role within the construction industry, with expertise of aggregate, ready mix concrete, precast concrete and asphalt production processes and conformity control; Experience of auditing quality management and factory production control systems; Clear and efficient verbal and written communication, including excellent report writing skills; Initiative and the ability to work reliably without continual supervision; Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Confident personality with the ability to conduct audits and inspections in a professional and impartial manner; Genuine interest in Product Standards and Building Regulations; Proven track record in working in a busy environment with multiple deadlines; Proven ability to work as a team member; Desirable. Experience in positions with significant quality management system responsibility; A proficient working knowledge of Euronorm construction standards; Experience of compliance and auditing techniques; A recognized QMS or Lead Auditor qualification.
