Sigmar Recruitment have an urgent new requirement for an experienced Instrumentation Technician who is electrically qualified or competent. This is a permanent role which offers the successful candidate the chance to be part of one of Ireland’s leading instrumentation suppliers. The role is a mix of electrical work, calibration works, service repair and commissioning of analytical telemetry equipment. Due to the nature of the business, some products are especially niche and therefore the successful candidate will require a strong ability to work on their own initiative and possess exceptional problem solving skills. You will be joining a well-established and highly experienced team to provide professional services (calibration/validation/servicing) both in-house and on site across an extensive client base. Candidate Specification: Experience with chemical dosing and treatment/ monitoring chemicals and other elements in water, i.e. Chlorine, PH, soda ash and aluminium. Sound working knowledge of flow meters and a good understanding of general principals of operations. High level of IT skills. Must be flexible and adaptable to an ever changing work environment. Conscientious and motivated self-starter. Excellent attention to detail. Results orientated individual, focused on completing each task to the highest possible standards.
