Your Job Purpose. Working with the LotusWorks team as a Calibration/Instrumentation Planner, this role is ideally suited to someone who is looking to pursue a career in Calibrations or Instrumentation. Your Responsibility. Perform assigned Calibration activities such as Calipers, Micrometers and Gauge Pins as defined by the SOP. Ensure service issues do not arise by clarifying client requests, managing expectations, by determining the cause, seeking solutions and escalating appropriately through the LotusWorks Quality Management System. Carry out proactive work to assist in enhancing the service / experience for the Client. Liaise with Site Lead to determine the scheduling and co-ordination of subcontracted calibration requirements both on and off site. Ensure that all Third Party Suppliers/Vendors are approved on the LotusWorks Approved Supplier List (ASL. Conduct visual inspections of returned equipment for damage and notify any incidents to the Site Lead immediately. Liaise closely with EHSQ ensuring supplier management standards are adhered to. Utilise the internal systems including the LotusWorks on-line tracker application for scheduling and documenting the performance of third Party calibration service providers. Ensure that Calibration Laboratory and work place is neat and tidy at all times. Be actively involved in Product Improvement Processes to reduce cost. Contribute as appropriate to Supplier related quality issues including Customer Complaints, CAPA and Audits. Audit preparation and assisting the internal auditing process onsite. Requirements. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation. Previous exposure to Instrumentation or Calibration would be beneficial. A good knowledge of a MMS or ERP System. Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications especially Microsoft Office. Possess excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills. Flexibility in approach to work duties and assignments. Strong organisational, analytical and administrative skills. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
