Senior Dietician – Part Time. Upper Gastro Intestinal. The post holder will be an integrated multidisciplinary team member, facilitating and delivering a comprehensive outpatient service to patients. The post holder will support and drive the integration of acute and community nutrition support services for upper GI patients. Responsibilities - The post holder will be responsible for; -The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver a nutrition outpatient service to upper GI patients. -The post holder will assess nutritional status and provide nutrition education for pre-op Upper GI patients. -The post holder will be responsible for follow up of patients on an outpatient basis after discharge. -The post holder will develop nutrition and nutrition related resources for staff and patient use. -The post holder will attend multidisciplinary team meetings as required. -The post holder will communicate and co-ordinate with community and acute hospital nutrition services in relation to this patient cohort.
