An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Manager within the Pharma Industry to manage the planning, ordering and logistics of products, in compliance with the US CBP regulations, cGDP and US FDA regulations through a complex network of multiple global contract manufacturing sites in multiple geographical locations. RESPONSIBILITIES. Manage and develop the supply chain team to meet business, site and department goals and objectives. Manage the organisations inventory strategy in collaboration with interdependent business units. Manage and operate MRP/ERP systems including SAP IBP. Manage the planning, supply and delivery of new products and suppliers. Develop and manage long-term positive relationships with suppliers, customers and external bodies. The organisations supply chain is compliant with regulations including the Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA), FDA, DEA, ICH, HPRA, WHO, EU GDP and USP regulations and guidance's. Manage supplier and service providers' performance including adherence to metrics and key performance indicators in order to proactively identify potential supply issues and improve efficiencies. Support US commercial team with special emphasis on the following: Customer focus. Inventory management. Manage supply of RNA and incremental opportunities. Promote positive relationships. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical finished product and API manufacture and supply. Support the operation in the assessment of supplier's operations and product supply. Support positive communications and interactions with internal departments including finance, regulatory, compliance and auditing. Assist in ensuring policies are adhered to and operated efficiently. Achieve department budgets. REQUIREMENTS. Degree (level 8)/ Masters level or higher in supply chain, science or other related discipline with a professional qualification in Supply Chain. Qualification in supply chain management. 10 years' experience in a cGMDP environment with a very strong knowledge of quality, regulatory, manufacturing and supply chain systems. Broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of supply chain systems, processes and practices. Experience in project management beneficial. Minimum 5 years' managerial experience in a regulated dynamic environment. Ability to work on complex issues where analysis requires an in-depth, comprehensive knowledge of the business. A strong technical background in pharmaceutical industry, production scheduling and capacity planning or equivalent is essential to this role. Solid understanding and knowledge of cGMDP and regulatory principles in a pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain environments. MS Office, Power point, Excel and SAP.
