My client a Cork based Pharma client of mine require a Logistics Analyst. He/She will be a Senior Analyst in Global Trade within pharma. Key duties of the role will include (but not limited to ) : Support management of the import, export, transit and compliance activities. Ensure adherence with laws and to improve and support operational efficiency. This role will be central point of contact for supporting all trade related issues. Ensures all import/export transactions comply with European Customs Law. Manage deployment of internal controls & solves issues that result in border delays. Monitor EU trade compliance regulatory and legislative changes. Alerts the appropriate parties internally on the impact to the business. Maintains records of all imports & exports under Customs Procedures (IPR, PCC and OPR. Supports import/export/duty management projects that focus on driving efficiencies. Qualifications/Requirements. 3rd level qualificationin (e.g., international trade, supply chain, logistics, legal preferred. 3 years + expereince in a similar role. Experience working in a customs agent/broker’s agency, multinational or, pharma company etc. Knowledge on EU and Irish import regulations and activities, etc. Experience with global trade software platforms (e.g. SAP Global Trade Services module.
