Telesales Business Development Manager. Our client in the technology sector is looking to fill the role of TBDM. This position will be aligned to one or more Client BDMs to assist in generating leads for potential opportunities for our client to sell our services and tools. The successful candidate will be targeted on booking face to face meetings and driving attendance to our events, webinars and seminars. Hunting for new opportunities to pass over to Business Development Managers to take forward to completion, TBDMs will work alongside CBDMs on vertical specific go to market sales campaigns. Responsibilities: Reaching new meeting & event attendance quotas defined each quarter. Outbound connections (calls, mails etc.) to new customers on a daily basis. Grows and maintains relationships with customer prospects through pro-active sales activity. Collaboratively works with assigned Client BDMs to generates sales activities with customers. Updates our business systems (such as CRM) with client intelligence and sales activities. Develops/maintains strong knowledge of leading industry trends through ongoing training with software publishers. Work to our company’s core company values and principles. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Basic salesmanship and appreciation of common sales methodologies and questioning techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication. Able to adapt communications with clients based on what the clients’ verticals are. Overcoming objections. Understanding business issues. Articulating our Clients value propositions. Selling to and through gatekeepers. Researching prospects. Gathering client intelligence. Planning , scheduling and effective time management. Good use of information worker software applications such as CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Appreciation of social selling platforms such as Linked In.
