THE ROLE: * You will be responsible for enhancing analytical technical expertise, driving new product introduction, data analysis and scientific interpretation to pro-actively identify and resolve product related investigations. * Provide technical leadership and support for protein sciences. * Apply state-of-the art scientific knowledge to interpretation of data and ensure high quality of the delivered results. * Lead Analytical technology transfer, Troubleshooting and investigations. * Lead Analytical Technology focused projects within AD Cork. * Technical coaching/training of area personnel. * Scientific liaison with global AD Group, 3rd level institutions & relevant government bodies. * Remain current with regard to Protein based methodologies, technology. REQUIREMENTS: * A degree in Cell/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Analytical Sciences is required. A higher degree is preferable. * A minimum of 5 years' experience within the biopharmaceutical industry focusing on Large Molecules Analytical Development. * You should demonstrate technical leadership in Protein Biochemistry. * Proven capability and expertise in the area of protein based analytical Technology. * Experience of leading/directing successful projects or teams would be an advantage.
