Our Cork based client are currently recruiting for ERP Project Project Manager for a 12 month contract. Manage scope, budget and timing of ERP Upgrade (Ross ERP 6.3 to 7.1 Microsoft SQL based. Develop in depth understanding of ERP interfaces with manufacturing plant, Vendor managed Inventory, Bestmix formulation , Financial imports, & Tablet SOP. Suggest and drive improvements in ERP interfaces. Assist in gathering requirements and documenting business process. Manage schedules. Direct and motivate the project team. Report project progress to the steering committee. Point of contact for resolving all issues from employees and the vendor. Technical Responsibilities: Provision new Windows servers in virtual environment to accommodate new ERP version. Migrate applications and data to new servers. Decommission old servers. Make FTP and firewall changes where necessary. Optimise servers and applications after upgrade. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with critical systems and interfaces where needed. Maintain the IT infra-structure for the company during the period of the contract. QUALIFICATIONS: 4‐8 years of project management experience. 3rd level IT related qualification (preferably Bsc level or above. KEY SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES: Extensive knowledge of ERP systems. Successful management of ERP upgrade from initiation through implementation. Project Management Requirements ‐ Experience in developing and maintaining project management documents: Project schedule, Resource assignments, Task estimates, Document management plan (project documents, status reports, meeting minutes. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL required. Detailed understanding of hardware, networking, operating systems, DBMS, cloud tech/solutions and development languages. Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyse project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
