SAP Financial Accountant (Contract. Our client is a very successful Irish owned business with multiple offices both in Cork and Dublin. They are currently looking to fill an immediate interim role at one of their Cork offices. The role is an interim project for 4 to 6 weeks normal hours OR alternatively 3 months working 20 hours a week. It will involve ensuring that SAP is being utilised correctly and up to date with contact, contract and billing details. You will be required to work with the General Manager, Head of Sales and third party supplier around the invoicing and the accuracy of the system. Must have an excellent working knowledge of SAP. Responsibilities: Review all existing customers data to ensure accuracy and updated information are captured in SAP. Call customers to confirm the contact data in SAP is accurate. Update all records for contract billing to ensure it reflects agreed contracts. Work with the sales team to update all contracts in SAP. Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and various projects within the company to improve the process around customer on boarding/off boarding. Monitor banking activities of the organization and ensuring payments are reflected in SAP. Assist in the set-up, management and reporting for different entities. Competencies: Solid presence and influencing skills to foster key cross-functional partnerships. Demonstrated analytical skill with experience gathering and interpreting quantitative and financial data. Business acumen. Demonstrated strategic agility and broad business perspective. Strong oral, written, and formal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple ways to all levels of the organization. Execution and results focused, with emphasis on on-time delivery. Essential: Highly SAP Proficiency. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization. Demonstrates an awareness of fundamental business principles as well as an understanding of the overall industry in which the business operates.
