Our client is an international machinery sales and hire company who have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to generate new opportunities in the Cork and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must have relevant sales experience, be customer focused and be passionate about offering the best service and equipment to clients. Responsibilities include: Promote and sell our range of equipment to existing customers. Actively develop new business. Promote and sell all services provided by the group: hire and sale, safety, training and maintenance. Primarily an off-site role - visiting construction sites, local business, factories, main contractors and sub-contractors. Ensure CRM is kept up-to-date. Achieve the best pricing. Work closely with transport and hire desks. Be flexible with regards to locations of work. The ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years’ experience in Plant equipment and the rental industry. Strong geographical knowledge of the territory. Proven track record of sales achievements. Strong account management experience. Business development skills. Driven individual with excellent time management skills. Full clean driving licence is essential.
