A Customer Services Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based manufacturing client. Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for more information. THE ROLE: * As customer services specialist, you will be responsible for the day to day support and maintenance of Customer Accounts. * Building and forming a good working relationship with clients. * Booking orders by agreed lead times, managing all aspects of new enquiries, stock control and forecasting etc. * Proactively inform Customers on any supply chain issues & deal with appropriately. * As customer services coordinator, you will be comfortable using a variety of computer systems. * Liaise with Planning/Production/Engineering & Logistics in relation to production schedule, urgent deliveries, lead times, customer complaints and help resolve same. * Liaising with customer representatives and international colleagues to ensure smooth running of Customer Accounts. REQUIREMENTS: * 2 years proven sales / customer service experience, in a manufacturing related industry; ideally serving the pharmaceutical or chemical industry. * A relevant third level qualification is desirable, although not essential. * Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of performing to a high level with energy, and have a strong ability to communicate effectively. * Computer literate - must have the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint. * Experience with ERP / CSM software systems. * Solve problems in a timely and friendly manner with due respect to the customer at all times. * Motivated and ambitious self—starter and capable of working on own initiative. * Willingness to travel abroad for training and customer visits. * French language skills desirable.
