IT Operations Manager. PE Global requires an IT Operations Manager for one of our clients in Cork.The IT Operations Manager reports to the Director of Information Technology and is responsible for: Developing, managing and maintaining the company’s IT Infrastructure. Lead all IT infrastructure projects to ensure that we reduce technical debt. Managing a team responsible for systems, networks, telephony, storage and databases, with application support and first line service desk. Lead the dedicated security function.Responsible for the main IT revenue budget, covering licence renewals, telecoms for both voice and data, and the majority of IT service contract. Key Technology in Use. Microsoft Windows,Citrix,VMWare,Oracle,Linux,Microsoft Sharepoint, Drools and Jboss. At least 10 industry experience - of which at least 5 will have involved leading Infrastructure teams. Proven track record leading a team that manages highly available, resilient applications, databases, networks, storage area networks. Contact Centre experience would be ideal (but not mandatory), AVAYA platform experience preferred. Third level IT or related qualification.
